The artisanal fisherman Joaquim Eduardo Marques Maio doesn’t get a fishing license and finds himself in unemployment now. The fisherman is protesting in front of the Ministry in Lisbon and he claims injustice and corruption. The protagonist doesn’t get any support from fishing associations and determines a hard competition among artisanal fishermen leading to corruption in associations and the ministry of fisheries. The documentary visualises Joaquim’s protest and indicates why he is protesting in his way, how his way of living, thinking, working is reflecting the way he is postulating for his right on the little traffic island in front of the Ministry.

A documentary about the different concepts of second hand market in Germany and Tanzania. The flow of Second Hand connects both countries. On the one hand the flood of used clothes from Europe prevent Tanzanian companies from building up own clothing industries. on the other the second hand market creates lots of jobs in Tanzania from sellers like Crisbin at Sabasaba Market in Dodoma, or tailors like Winfrieda who create new pieces out of the used clothes fitting the new customer. In Germany second hand plays another role: it's a trend and a movement towards sustainability. cristina, owner of the vintage market in Stuttgart and Susanne owner of Trouvé in Tübingen explain their different business models.
